How do I make a purchase?
All orders are conducted via email. Please contact me with your contact information, including the item you are looking for. I will be glad to assist you.
All sales are subject to local tax of 7.5%
Any items that must be shipped will incur additional shipping & handling charges
All firearms sales are by appointment only and in person.
Firearms sales are subject to background checks & only the customer is allowed to complete the transaction.
All buyers must be 21+yrs old, and present in person & provide valid ID.
I am currently by appointment only, so contact me via email or phone to discuss your needs.
Can I buy a gun for someone else?
No. The person filling out the paperwork MUST be the purchaser. "Straw Purchases", or buying a firearm for someone who can't or doesn't want to complete a background check is illegal. High Caliber Firearms LLC strictly follow all federal and state laws.
What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time, I accept cash, money orders, direct bank transfer, cashier's check from bank, and Zelle.
What do I need to purchase a firearm?
You must be the actual purchaser of the firearm.
You must be 21+ and have a valid state ID (Driver's License or state issued ID) with your current physical address or a valid Concealed Handgun Carry permit
You will need to fill out the appropriate paperwork & submit to a background check
Once approved, you can take possession of the firearrm
We reserve the right to refuse a transfer/purchase for ANY reason.
If denied, the firearm is sent back to the seller & transfer fees still apply.If your background check is DENIED, you will be refunded for your purchase, minus a 15% or $50 minimum restocking fee.
Delays can occur due to NICS or shipping issues. We are NOT responsible for DELAY responses from NICS, or shipping delays. We will communicate with the shipping service & our customer to attempt to expedite delays.
If your background check returns a DELAY status, the FBI has up to 3 business days to provide a final response. (Brady Law) If no response is received, federal law allows the FFL to transfer at their discretion.
High Caliber Firearms LLC reserves the right to wait for the final PROCEED or to release the firearm after the standard 3 business day "Brady" waiting period.
I have a medical marijuana card, can I buy a firearm?
No, we cannot sell a firearm or ammo to anyone with a medical card per federal law. Please check out this link for more info.
How long does it take to receive my firearm?
The process is relatively quick:
Contact me with your order & payment information.
Once your payment has processed, your order will be immediately placed. Orders placed before noon generally ship next day through most of our distributors. I will notify you and keep you updated throughout the process.
Handguns ship Express, (1-2 days)
Long guns generally ship Ground(3-5 days, up to 7)
I will track every order each day, notify you when it ships, and when it is expected to arrive at my shop.
Once the firearm arrives, , it's just a matter of completing the ATF Form 4473 in person. As soon as we receive a PROCEED through the NICS background check, (if have a valid CHCL, we can skip that) Your adoption is complete!
You can now take your new firearm home, love it, pet it, and call it "George".
If your background check is DENIED, you will be refunded for your purchase, minus a 15% or $50 minimum restocking fee.
How does your transfer process work?
I can receive firearms from other Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) as well as ship to other FFLs.
The charge for transfer services is $30
FFL is required to receive or ship.
If shipping to another FFL, Shipping & Handling along with 7.5% sales tax will apply. Receiving FFL may charge transfer fee as well.
Do you offer gun cleaning services?
Yes! At this time, I offer basic field stripping, cleaning, inspection & lubrication of your firearm . Contact me for availability & pricing
Do you buy firearms from private sellers?
Yes, by appointment only.
You MUST be the owner of the firearm, Provide a valid state issued ID,
Do you accept private party transfers?
Yes, BOTH parties must be present at appointment and provide valid ID, Recipient must submit to background check, and transfer fee applies.
Do you work with NFA items?
I do not have the permit to deal in NFA items at this time. It is a future goal (hopefully July 2026). In the meantime, I can recommend another FFL with these abilities.
Do you offer custom engraving, cerakote or modifications?
I do not offer any customization such as these, unfortunately. But I have the contact information for a custom engraver located in the area, as well as several cerakote and laser engraving services for firearms.
Are transfer fees included in the price?
If you purchase a firearm through me, I will not add transfer fees. The price will include shipping, transfer fees & the buyer will be responsible for additional 7.5% sales tax
Do you offer safety courses?
At this time, I am not licensed to offer safety courses. I can educate you regarding BASIC firearm safety, and recommend a licensed firearms instructor.
Can I see your FFL?
Absolutely! We are a fully licensed Federal Firearms dealer. For safety and security reasons, we don't post the license publicly. Other FFLs and vendors can request a copy anytime. Contact me
