Transfer Services

SHIPPING A FIREARM:   We ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you unless you are an FFL holder.

If you do not hold a valid FFL, High Caliber Firearms LLC will transfer your purchased firearm to your choice of a licensed gun dealer in your area.

It is your responsibility:

  • to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state. check you state's restrictions
  • to contact the FFL in order to provide us with their contact info, FFL, and shipping information.
  • to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer

Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transfer fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. Please check with your local dealer concerning their policies. You do not pay High Caliber Firearms LLC the transfer fee.

The buyer is responsible for contacting their transferring FFL to request they send a copy of their FFL to us.

All firearms are shipped via FedEx to licensed FFLs only. Adult signature required.  Additional shipping and handling charges apply ($75)

FFL Transfer Policies

  • Background Checks & ID: A valid, government-issued photo ID with current address is required. All transfers require an ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check to be completed in person
  • If a background check returns a "Delay," the firearm cannot be released until a "Proceed" is received from the FBI or the state-mandated waiting period expires.
  • Prohibited Persons: If you are prohibited from owning a firearm, do not initiate a transfer. A "Denied" background check will result in the firearm being returned to the seller at your expense, or surrendered to law enforcement, and a processing fee will still apply.
  • Fees & Payment: A non-refundable transfer fee of
    $30 is due upon pickup.
  • Storage & Abandoned Property: Firearms must be picked up within
15 days of arrival. Items left beyond this period, without prior written arrangement, will be considered abandoned and returned to the seller at the customer's expense or become the property of this FFL.
  • Compliance: We comply with all federal, state, and local laws. Please ensure the firearm is legal to possess in your jurisdiction before initiating the transfer.

By initiating a transfer with us, you agree to these terms
